Zenith Pilot Type 20 Ton Up Chronograph Black watch celebrates The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride for men’s health.

This past weekend, more than 112,000 people rode classic motorcycles in the streets of 648 cities in 102 countries to benefit The Movember Foundation, dedicated to supporting prostate cancer research and men’s mental health. This marks the third year that Zenith has participated.The brand also featured the Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Ton Up Black as the Official Watch of the event.

Zenith and The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in NY

One of the world’s biggest charity fundraisers for men’s health, the DGR has raised more than $13 million to date, and the aim is to raise another $6 million with the 2018 fundraising campaign that ends on October 14, 2018. In New York this past weekend, Zenith CEO Julien Tournare joined in the event. The top watch of the weekend: the Zenith Pilot Ton Up Black.

In stores now, the Pilot Ton Up Black watch –named in tribute to the café racer biker community, also known as Ton Up boys — is a 45 mm aged stainless-steel case, with matt dial. The automatic column-wheel chronograph watch features an etching of a café racer on his motorcycle. It is finished with an oily nubuck leather strap with a protective rubber lining and contrasting white stitching. Powering the timepiece is the legendary in-house El Primero automatic 4069 caliber. The watch retails for $7,100.

Zenith also created a very limited edition (5) of the Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Ton Up DGR watch to honor the event.
