The past few days have been a heated experience. Joining Hublot in Miami, ATimelyPerspective gained insight into the world of the Miami Heat basketball team – for which Hublot is the official timekeeper. Additionally, the Heat’s Dwyane Wade is a brand ambassador for Hublot.
During the weekend, we watched the Heat beat the Charlotte Bobcats in a close game, had the opportunity for a private interview with Dwyane Wade, took part in a press conference with Wade and fellow players Ray Allen and Shane Battier, and – best of all- participated in a basketball clinic on the court at the American Airlines Arena with top Miami Heat players. We toured the locker room and experienced firsthand how Hublot interacts with the Miami Heat team and its members on a close basis that revolves around—as Ray Allen said — “not just writing a check, but being involved, especially in our charities.”
Since Hublot became the exclusive watch partner and official timer of the Miami Heat three years ago, the brand has Swiss luxury presence at the premium door entries at the American Airlines Arena in
Miami, and has created a Hublot Miami Heat watch – available for sale only in the Miami boutiques – and a King Power Dwyane Wade watch. In fact, the brand and Wade are in the process of designing the second Dwyane Wade watch – one Wade says more personifies him off the court than on the court.
In all the weekend’s experience was enlightening and heartwarming, and in the coming weeks we will bring you a few inside views of Hublot and the Miami Heat, as well as an exclusive interview with Wade. So stay tuned.
