Tutima M2 Coastline Goes Green

Sometimes, in a watch, all you want is simplicity and precision. When you don’t need all the bells and whistles, and are happy with just the time, the day and the date, German watch brand Tutima has exactly the right answer: The Tutima M2 Coastline. Sure, in its other collections, Tutima has all the bells and whistles (literally, since the brand makes a minute repeater watch), but the brand also recognizes the value proposition of delivering just what customers want. The M2 Coastline watch offers a sporty yet urban chic appeal — especially in its newest all-green dial color.

Crafted in solid brushed titanium with a solid titanium bracelet (there are also strap options), the 43mm M2 Coastline watch is incredibly durable, water resistant (to 300 meters) and light in weight. It is powered by the self-winding mechanical T330 caliber, which offers day of the week and date display in addition to hours, minutes and step seconds. Boasting 25 jewels, the movement features a power reserve of 38 hours when fully wound.

For easy readability in the dark, the indices and hands feature a Super-LumiNova coating. The sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating that allows for non-glare views of the striking dial with interior flange. A screw-in case back ensures the water resistance of the watch.

It is available in multiple dial colors, including tried-and-true black sunray guilloche and a bright blue,  but the forest green dial seems to be a particular favorite thanks to the gradient hue. It is bright in the center and darkens as the dial meets the black inner flange. It is offered with a vintage-inspired brown pebble-grained leather strap with green stitching, or with  titanium bracelet with inset links and matte finish — which makes a really powerful statement. Perhaps best of all about the M2 Coastline: its price. ON a strap, the watch retails for $1,650 and on the titanium bracelet, it has a great value proposition at $1,950.
