In Miami this week at the Art Basel event, Girard-Perregaux makes a timely statement. The to watch brand has partnered with FOReverglades, an environmentally minded public art exhibition by International Artists William Sweetlove and the artist collective, Cracking Art Group. At the same time, Girard-Perregaux unveiled a new, limited-edition Hawk watch that it hopes will help spread the message of preserving the environment. The new Hawk FOReverglades features a steel case and houses a Girard-Perregaux mechanical automatic-wind movement. The strap of the watch is created in white with red crocodiles. This $12,500 watch joins the new Hawk dive and chrono watches.
