They’re Finally Here: IWC’s Bold Trio of Pilot’s Watches

You may have heard about them a few months ago—but – IWC lovers take note – the bold and brazen three new black ceramic IWC Pilot’s watches have hit the stores.  We had a chance to try them on and take a close-up look at them in the New York Madison Avenue IWC Boutique, and you will want to do the same in an IWC boutique near you.

In the trio:

Big Plot’s Perpetual Calendar Top Gun Boutique Edition – black carbon case, black dial and superb fire-engine-red numerals. The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Top Gun Boutique Edition houses a mechanical automatic movement with Pellaton winding and offers double moon phases for northern and southern hemispheres. It is equipped with small hacking seconds and is 48mm in diameter. The superb watch retails for $40,800 and only 250 will be offered.

Big Pilot’s Top Gun Boutique Edition –same stealth black case and dial, but with lime green numerals.  The Big Pilot’s Top Gun is a 48mm piece with ceramic case and mechanical automatic movement, caliber 51111 with Pellaton winding. With its bold green numerals, the watch perfectly emulates pilot instrumentation. It retails for $19,700.  It is offered on Kevlar strap and built in a limited edition of 500 pieces.

Pilot’ s Chronograph Top Gun Boutique Edition – with blue numerals.  This 46mm Pilot’s Watch Chronograph, which retails for an incredible must-buy $14,000, is a mechanical self-winding watch with flyback function. It features a soft-iron inner case to protect again magnetic fields.  Like the green-numeraled Big Pilot’s Top Gun piece, this watch is offered on Kevlar strap and built in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
