Speake-Marin and Pierce Brosnan’s Resilience ‘Love Life’ Watch Coming to New York City

Only a few short weeks ago, we presented a two-part, 49-watch slideshow revolving around the new unique timepieces crafted by some of the biggest names in luxury watchmaking for the seventh edition of the Only Watch Charity Auction. Today, we take you in depth with the Speake-Marin Only Watch.

For the seventh edition of this charity auction, Speake-Marin delivers the Resilience ‘Love Life’ a unique timepiece created in collaboration with ambassador of the brand, Mr. Pierce Brosnan. The Resilience timepiece is from the Speake-Marin J-Class collection, easily recognizable by its crisp, clean design elements. The watch features a self-winding, Calibre Vaucher 3002 movement.

This 38mm timepiece, made of 18-karat rose gold, displays central hours, minutes and seconds and features a power reserve of 50 hours. The simple and elegant dial features slim black roman numerals on a white face indicated by the signature Speake-Marin style hands.

Emblazoned on the dial is the inscription “Love Life”, written by Pierce Brosnan himself. Two words, which characterize the DNA of the only watch auction. Brosnan signs all his emails with these two words to show his love of life and will to harbor hope through all situations. Additionally, the case back of this unique piece features Brosnan’s signature and the “Only Watch 2017” inscription.

In a nod to its elegant origin, the Resilience timepiece sits upon a refined alligator strap with an 18K red gold pin buckle. This one-of-a-kind Speake-Marin Only Watch will be auctioned off on November 11^th alongside more than 40 other unique timepieces to benefit Duchene Muscular Dystrophy.
