Go big or go home. In this case big means make a big statement –exactly what TAG Heuer does with its newest Carrera Red Dial Limited Edition watch. The crimson red dial of this beloved chronograph, with the same rich red subsidiary dials, makes a magnificent statement on the wrist.
Personally, I love the color red. It makes everything seem bolder, brighter and richer. By turning to a rich Bordeaux red wine hue for this heritage-inspired collection, TAG Heuer brings sporty elegance to a new level. The red particularly pops against the bright stainless steel case, and silver colored hands and markers coated in luminescence are the perfect finishing touch for balance and beauty.
The TAG Heuer Carrera, first unveiled to the world in 1963, is an iconic watch designed by the legendary Jack Heuer. The new limited edition version is created in a 39mm case size that beautifully recalls the original Heuer Carrera Ref. 2447, right down to the signature lugs and pushers.
Powered by TAG Heuer’s high-precision Caliber Heuer 02 chronograph movement, the watch is endowed with 80 hours of power reserve. The brand even adds touches of red to the column wheel and oscillating weight engravings – all of which can be seen via the transparent sapphire case back. A TAG Heuer boutique exclusive, each watch, water resistant to 100 meters, features the words “One of 600” on it – referring to the number that will be made. It retails for $6,750.
