Swiss watch brand Rado, the “Master of materials” is bringing a great new timepiece to the forefront just in time for the holidays. The new version of the Captain Cook bronze watch now boasts a burgundy high-tech ceramic dial. Bronze is one of the oldest materials created by man and as it comes together with high-tech innovative ceramic, it makes a bold yet beautiful statement on the wrist.
Rado also color coordinates the brushed bronze watch bezel to the dial by adding a matching burgundy ceramic insert to it. The ceramic insert features laser-engraved numbers and markers. It is all finished with a NATO strap. The indexes, numbers, hands and markers are all painted with Super-LumiNova® for easy readability in the dark.
Inspired by the brand’s original’s l1962 Captain Cook watch, the newest piece is powered by the automatic 111⁄2 Rado calibre 763 movement that offers 80 hours power reserve.
