The simply dazzling dial is created of lapis lazuli and features a platinum grid in the form of the Roman numerals for the dial. At 12:00, there is a platinum rendition of Earth, with an aperture above it for the moonphase indication. The complex timepiece houses the Calibre 9440 MC – with 362 parts and 40 jewels. The complicated mechanical manual wind movement offers tourbillon, second time zone and the unusual feature of a moonphase on demand. It also offers three days of power reserve.

The 47 mm watch is cased in platinum as only a true work of art should be, and features a sapphire crystal and caseback that allows for viewing of the movement. The crown is beaded in platinum and set with a blue sapphire cabochon. The watch is finished with an alligator strap and is water resistant to 30 meters. Just 50 numbered pieces will ever be made.
