Later today at Baselworld 2017, Patek Philippe will be having technical press conference to disclose new highly advanced concepts. Additionally, we will be meeting with the brand executives to see the newest timepieces that are destined to make their way to stores later this year. Now, however, as a teaser, we bring you a look at the brand’s new rendition of an all-time favorite: the Patek Philippe Ref. 5960/1 Chronograph with Annual Calendar.
Thanks to the wonderful combination of a flyback chronograph and an annual calendar, this watch has caught the hearts of many. Utilitarian and yet classic, technically advanced yet simple in design, the Patek Philippe Ref. 5960/1 Flyback Chronograph Annual Calendar has a rich following, and lovers of this watch should be thrilled. This year’s rendition, with a striking new ebony opaline dial, is offered for the first time ever in stainless steel. The three apertures on the dial, in an arc from 10:00 to 2:00 display the day, date, and month. The chronograph subdial counter at 6:00 offers both running hours and minutes (12 hours on the outer ring and 50 minutes on the inner ring). The black and steel beauty is further enhanced with bold red seconds hands. Expected to be in stores later this year, it will retail for $51,031.
