Panerai Luminor Marina Capsule collection
At Watches & Wonders 2025, Panerai unveiled a new capsule collection of Luminor Marina timepieces, reimagining one of its most recognizable lines with contemporary design elements, enhanced performance, and upgraded materials. With a bold aesthetic and refined technical features, the collection underscores Panerai’s legacy of creating robust, functional, and innovative timepieces, while continuing to push the boundaries of modern watchmaking.
The centerpiece of the new series that includes five different models is the Luminor Marina Titanio PAM003325, which highlights Panerai’s expertise in high-tech materials. Its 44mm brushed case is crafted from Grade 5 titanium, a lightweight yet durable alloy that offers the strength of steel at only 56% of the weight. This makes the watch exceptionally comfortable for extended wear. The material’s corrosion resistance ensures longevity, making it particularly suited for aquatic environments—an homage to Panerai’s origins as a supplier of precision instruments for the Italian Navy. This version is the more expensive model, retailing for $9,700.

The Titanio model features a polished bezel, creating a subtle contrast against the brushed case, while the olive-green sun-brushed dial evokes the Maison’s military heritage. The dial’s sandwich construction, a signature Panerai design, enhances readability, with Super-LumiNova® X2 coating providing superior luminescence in low-light conditions. The watch is paired with a vintage-inspired dark green scamosciato calf strap and comes with an additional dark green rubber strap for versatility.

Equally striking is the Luminor Marina steel variant, available in several dial colors and configurations. The PAM03323 model (also selling for $9,700) is crafted from AISI 316LVM – 1.4441 stainless steel, a high-grade, low-carbon alloy known for its corrosion resistance and durability. It debuts Panerai’s new V-shaped bracelet design, which tapers from the case to the buckle, creating a refined, ergonomic fit.
The bracelet features a brushed interior with polished edges, producing a dynamic, three-dimensional effect as it catches the light. For the first time, Panerai has integrated a Quick Length Adjustment feature, allowing the bracelet to extend by 2mm on each side, offering flexibility for a perfect fit throughout the day.

The collection also includes models with leather and rubber strap combinations. The PAM03312 features a black dial with a matching black alligator strap, while the PAM03313 pairs a sun-brushed blue dial with a blue alligator strap. The PAM03314 offers a contemporary white dial matched with a black alligator strap. Each model is equipped with Panerai’s PAM Click™ Release System, allowing for effortless, tool-free strap changes. All models in the collection are rated for water resistance up to 50 BAR (approximately 500 meters), marking a significant upgrade for the Luminor Marina line. To ensure reliability, each watch undergoes testing at 25% above the guaranteed water resistance level. They each retail for $8,800.
Powering these new Luminor Marina models is the P.980 caliber, a 3-day automatic movement. It features a traversing balance bridge, enhancing stability and precision, while the stop-second function allows for precise time-setting by halting the seconds hand when the crown lever is pulled. The caliber has been tested in six positions to guarantee reliable chronometric performance. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement features a refined finishing that complements the watch’s streamlined design.
With its bold lines, improved ergonomics, and innovative materials, the new Luminor Marina capsule collection reflects Panerai’s commitment to evolving its iconic designs while preserving the heritage and functionality that define the brand. Whether in titanium or steel, with a bracelet or strap, each model offers a contemporary take on a timeless classic, built for both performance and style.
