By removing excess material, the watchmaker has achieved a delicate balance between transparency and strength, revealing the inner workings of the timepiece while ensuring its durability and reliability.

The dial is protected by a slightly domed sapphire crystal and the case back is set with a sapphire crystal, as well, for viewing the meticulously finished movement. The watch retails for $86,900.
