Guillermo León, President of La Aurora, sees the collaboration as a natural evolution for both brands. “We started with humble beginnings, but through perseverance, expertise, creativity, and integrity, we have sought to change the way the world interacts with seemingly common products and turn them into luxury goods,” he notes.

Jacob & Co. X La Aurora Epic X Watch

At the heart of this collaboration is Jacob & Co.’s Epic X tourbillon timepiece. The Rose Gold 44mm watch is a canvas adorned with elements reminiscent of a cigar, paying homage to La Aurora’s iconic legacy. The watch prominently features the La Aurora logo on the dial, creating a visual symphony that marries the worlds of horology and artisanal craftsmanship. This particular tourbillon watch is open-worked – allowing the wearer a glimpse inside the movement from the dial side.

That movement is an exclusive manually wound skeleton with 179 parts. It offers 72 hours of power reserve. The Epic X collaborative watch boasts La Aurora’s lion logo on the dial and case back, and is sold in a limited edition set – just 10 sets in total — along with a custom humidor and specially made 120 Limited Edition cigars that honor La Aurora’s 120^th anniversary. The cigars are a full Dominican blend wrapped in a stunning Habana 92 seed leaf. The set – with humidor, watch and cigars – sells for $48,000.
