Frederique Constant, a name synonymous with luxury and value-oriented pricing, celebrates the 25th anniversary of its showcase Highlife collection in style. Marking the milestone of one of the brand’s most iconic lines, Frederique Constant unveils a striking new variation of the sporty-chic Highlife Chronograph Automatic – a 41mm version capturing the essence of timeless elegance and modernity.
Restricted to just 1888 units, the new watch is crafted in a stainless steel case with an opaline dial with green counters, offering a sporty yet refined aesthetic. Exclusively available in the US, this model stands out thanks to its distinctive dial design with center globe etching and forest green outer minute track and coordinated subsidiary dials.
The watch is powered by the automatic mechanical FC-391 caliber with an impressive 60 hours of power reserve — ensuring the watch remains accurate and functional even after a weekend of non-use. This automatic movement offers hours, minutes and seconds in a tricompax display, along with a center seconds hand for the chronograph. The meticulous craftsmanship is visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
The limited-edition model comes with three interchangeable straps: a green suede strap with a crocodile pattern, a brushed and polished steel bracelet, and a rubber strap. This versatility allows the wearer to easily transition from a sophisticated city look to a rugged, outdoor-ready style.
The Highlife collection, which first made its debut in 1999, was revolutionary with its integrated, interchangeable strap system. This design, combined with high-level finishings and meticulous attention to detail, positioned Frederique Constant at the forefront of Swiss fine watchmaking. The 2020 relaunch with a classic panda-style chronograph, supported by musician and brand ambassador The Avener, reaffirmed the collection’s iconic status.
Now, with the introduction of this new reference, accompanied by a non-limited globally available version in rose gold plated case with blue dial, the collection doubles in size and offers collectors distinct alternatives. The new stainless steel version is water resistant to 10mm and retails for $3,895.
