Kross Studio Unveils KS 05 Watch Collabs With Warner Bros. And Hasbro

Swiss design studio and independent watchmaking manufacture Kross Studio, founded in 2020 by Marco Tedeschi, is introducing engaging new options with pop culture fans firmly in mind and a new tourbillon watch movement firmly in place. The two newest collaborations are: Transformers Rise of the Beasts, in collaboration with Hasbro, and  Warner Bros Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon.

In addition, the new KS 05 Timepiece Collection includes three distinct models fitted with Kross Studio’s patented KS 7’005, a central floating tourbillon movement developed and patented by Kross Studio and used throughout these new creations.

 

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Collector Set

This limited collector’s set is inspired by the Transformers franchise and its new film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. There are just 10 sets in this edition, each paying tribute to the series and its nearly 40-year legacy. The 45mm watchcase is in satin-finished Grade 5 titanium with black lacquer engravings. The caseback is decorated with the Autobots icon, surrounded by Inca representations of the Maximals. The flush-set “Time Set” push button is located between 3 and 4 o’clock, and the words are engraved in the Cybertronix language in Mechatron Green lacquer.

The functional sculpture included with the set is a reproduction of an important figure from the movie, Maximal Airazor. When pressure is applied to the sculpture’s head, its wings are dramatically deployed and a lever system is activated. The watch thus emerges, greenlit under a Mechatron LED light. The set is priced at $107,867 USD.

 

Game of Thrones – House of the Dragon Collector Sets

This limited-edition collection comprises five unique collector sets (CHF 150’000), each dedicated to a single dragon from “Game of Thrones” and its successor series, House of the Dragon, with the designs including key elements of House Targaryen and its many unique elements. The dial, for example, is made of Damasteel®, reminiscent of the Valyrian steel swords used in the popular HBO series.

The 45mm Grade 5 titanium watch case recalls the scales of a dragon thanks to its intricate three-dimensional engraving, and the likeness of a three-headed fire-breathing dragon is at the center of the caseback, identified by the engraved name that inspired the collector set.

The accompanying Dragon Egg functional sculpture, designed by Tedeschi, is produced in collaboration with French workshop Leblon Delienne, known for its expertise in crafting pop sculptures. Each airbrushed resin egg opens to store this timepiece—or any watch of choice.

KS 05 Timepiece Collection

The KS 05 Timepiece Collection is the first collection from Kross Studio issued outside of any partnerships or collaborations, and its central floating tourbillon manually wound movement heralds a notable technical advancement for the brand as well. The patented caliber KS 7’005, with a power reserve of 120 hours or five days, is fitted with a Grade 5 titanium cage chosen for its strength and lightness.

The KS 05 collection includes a trio of interesting watches whose dial variations include several elegant and functional details. The dials are made from black or blue aventurine glass or natural stone, and personalized options are available. The case is crafted from Grade 5 titanium or 18-karat red gold. Devoid of lugs or edges, it is characterized by a sleek, seamless profile with a clever D-ring crown integrated into the caseback for winding and time adjustments. The case is available with or without diamonds.
