Panerai has a longstanding connection with the U.S. Navy, dating back to the 1950s and earlier with other naval regimes in Europe. In recent years, the brand has strengthened this bond through an official partnership with the Navy SEALs, first announced in 2022. Since then, Panerai has launched a series of watches inspired by the elite military unit, known for their precision, resilience, and extreme performance in difficult environments. Now, the brand unveils a new collection of four (with one still under embargo) Panerai Submersible Navy SEALs-inspired watches.
The Panerai/Navy SEALs partnership celebrates shared values of toughness and excellence and the newest watches are designed to meet the rigorous demands of both underwater and tactical missions. The collection’s design is rooted in desert camouflage, a thematic influence visible across all models.
Each piece features a Navy SEALs logo at 6:00 on the dial and a seconds counter resembling a target, underscoring precision. The case-back carries the Navy SEALs logo, while sand-colored Super-LumiNova® provides low-light legibility.
Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro Navy SEALs PAM01518
The Submersible QuarantaQuattro Navy SEALs PAM01518 is housed in a 44mm brushed stainless steel case, with a gradient dial transitioning from black to anthracite. Beige Super-LumiNova® enhances its visual impact. Inside, the P.900 automatic movement powers the watch, offering a three-day power reserve. It is one of Panerai’s slimmest calibers, with one barrel and just 163 parts.
It is designed for reliability and precision thanks to a stop-second function that allows for precise setting of time. With a water resistance of up to 30 bar, this model is both stylish and highly functional. It sells for $10,200.
Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT Navy SEALs Carbotech™ PAM01513
The Submersible QuarantaQuattro GMT Navy SEALs Carbotech™ PAM01513 takes toughness to another level with a 44mm case crafted from Carbotech™ — a composite material 64% lighter than titanium and 80% lighter than steel. The manufacturing process of Carbotech™ involves compressing carbon fiber sheets at a specific temperature and high pressure along with PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone), a superior polymer that binds the composite, enhancing its strength and longevity. The resulting material offers superior mechanical properties and performance in term of strength-to-weight ratio.
The P.900/GMT movement provides a three-day power reserve and features a GMT hand that glows in the dark, making tracking two time zones easy. It boasts a screwed case back made of titanium DLC. This watch is water-resistant up to 50 bar, perfect for deep-sea exploration. This version retails for $19,700.
Panerai Submersible Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01669
The third watch being released today – with a special showing at the brand’s New York City boutique – is the Submersible Navy SEALs Titanio PAM01669, which features a 47mm Grade 5 titanium case. Its unidirectional rotating bezel is made of Carbotech™, complementing a dial that shifts from black to anthracite.
Powered by the P.9010 automatic movement, the watch boasts a quick change of time feature, which allows the hour hand to be adjusted independently in hourly increments without affecting the minute hand, providing convenience for travelers moving across time zones. For greater accuracy when adjusting the time, the caliber also features a device which stops the balance wheel and consequently the seconds hand when the winding crown is pulled out. It sells for $13,700.
The 200-part movement boasts an Incabloc® anti-shock device and two barrels for three days of power reserve. It offers hours, minutes, small seconds, date, calculation of immersion time, stop-seconds for precise time setting. With water resistance up to 30 bar, this model is designed for rigorous expeditions.
These timepieces come with bi-material rubber and textile straps, with interchangeable options for versatility. Available exclusively at Panerai boutiques, these watches continue the brand’s mission of merging military tradition with modern technical mastery.
