Those who follow the Skull collection of watches from Bell & Ross, and who really love a good bronze watch, will most likely truly appreciate the all new Bell & Ross BR 01 Cyber Skull Bronze watch with open-worked dial and skull and crossbones out in full view. The new watch, created in a limited edition of just 500 pieces, offers a modern take on a 10-year-old icon for the brand.
By turning to high-tech materials such as sapphire, ceramic – along with age-old bronze – Bell & Ross offers a truly avant-garde design. Because each bronze watch develops its own patina, each will become a unique piece over time. The skull and bones are crafted of 18-karat goldplating. The 45 mm x 46.7mm square case is made of bronze.
The watch is powered by a mechanical manual-wind movement made totally in house. The BR-CAL.210 movement is concealed behind the skull and the plates and bridges are placed according to the skull and four femur bones. A transparent sapphire case back allows for viewing of the movement, which is endowed with 50 hours of power reserve. Additionally, when the wearer turns the crown, the jaw of the skeleton reforms into a sneer. The watch is finished with a black rubber strap, is water resistant to 50 meters and retails for $11,400.
