Hublot Unveils Spirit Of Big Bang color ceramic chronographs during LVMH watch week in New York.
Today, at the opening day of the LVMH Watch Week, which is being held in New York City, Hublot continues to redefine the boundaries of contemporary watchmaking with the introduction of vibrant ceramic tones in its Spirit of Big Bang collection. For the first time in its 12-year history, the Spirit of Big Bang showcases colored ceramic cases and bezels in warm tones, including Sand Beige, Dark Green, and Sky Blue.
Limited to 200 pieces per color, this launch signifies a bold new chapter for Hublot’s tonneau-shaped timepiece, expanding the brand’s repertoire of avant-garde materials and pioneering aesthetics.

When the Spirit of Big Bang debuted in 2014, it marked a striking departure from Hublot’s traditional circular cases. Yet, its distinctive barrel-shaped design retained the brand’s iconic DNA, with its hallmark “Art of Fusion” ethos. The newest timepieces, just one series unveiled at the event, offer a whimsical and bright attitude.
The new chronograph watches are crafted from colored ceramics that are not only visually striking but also technologically advanced. Developed in the brand’s research lab, the material is hypoallergenic, lightweight, and highly resistant to scratches.

Each watch boasts color-coordinated dial accents with the hour markers, hands, and chronograph counters all reflecting the hue of the ceramic case for a cohesive design. Meanwhile, the black rubber-based straps provide are also color-coordinated on the outside.
Powering these timepieces is the HUB4700 automatic skeleton chronograph movement, a contemporary reimagining of the legendary El Primero caliber. Visible through both the open-worked dial and sapphire caseback, the movement operates at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour. It incorporates technical advancements such as a low-friction silicon escape wheel and offers a robust 50 hours of power reserve. This movement, with its 278 components and 31 jewels, exemplifies Hublot’s commitment to technical excellence.
Available at Hublot boutiques and authorized retailers worldwide, the new Spirit of Big Bang Chronograph models are priced at approximately $27,400.
