The video below mind blowing. This guy is sick. I have no underwater courage at all! But Guillaume Nery, French Free Diver and ambassador for Ball Watch sure does. Watch the video below- when he jumped into Dean’s Blue Hole in the Bahamas.
He also recently broke the French Free Diving record in the 2013 international diving competition in Crete. He broke the Constant Weight French record by diving to a depth of 124m in just 3’28”. With this new record, Guillaume is now getting closer to beating the world record (126m) accomplished by Alexey Molchanov in November, 2011. The weather conditions were extremely difficult during Guillaume’s 124m dive, with severe winds and big swells. “Thanks to extreme concentration, I managed to cut myself off and ignored the poor weather conditions. It’s probably my biggest satisfaction from this dive!”
The World Championship will be held in Kalamata, Greece from September 15th to September 22nd. On this occasion, Guillaume will try to maintain his World Champion title and to break the CWT World record.
Nery’s watch of choice: Ball Watch Company’s Engineer Master II Diver Worldtime. The world time watch offers day date function and is water resistant to 300 meters. It retails for $2,899 on bracelet and $2,799 on rubber.
