This year, not only are top Swiss watch brands offering one-of-a-kind watches for the Only Watch 2019 auction to benefit charity (held on November 9), but also six of them are offering some pretty unique experiences to go with that winning bid. Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime
Watch collectors — get ready. I know this special watch is enough to get any watch lover’s heart pounding, but the built-in experience that goes along with it may just be the straw that breaks the proverbial camel’s back: a Patek Philippe-filled day. In addition to the unique watch, the winning bidder gets the chance — for two privileged guests — to visit the workshops of Patek Philippe in Geneva. This exceptional experience is followed by a private lunch with Patek Philippe President, Thierry Stern. After that, a visit to the Museum and/or additional Patek Philippe salons.
The watch: The Grandmaster Chime — reference 6300A-010 — created specially for Only Watch 2019. It stands out as the first and only version of this grande sonnerie timepiece ever produced in stainless steel. It boasts two dials: one in rose gold and one in black ebony. The reversible case, adorned with a hand-guilloched hobnail pattern, is notable for its patented reversing mechanism. This exceptional grand complication features 20 complications in its stainless steel case, including no fewer than five chiming modes, two of which are patented world firsts: an acoustic alarm that strikes the preselected time and a date repeater sounding the date on demand. Tech specs: Ref. 6300A-010 Caliber 300 GS AL 36-750 QIS FUS IRM. Manually wound mechanical movement. Strikework isolator indicator. Second time zone with day/night indicator. Day, date (on both dials), month, leap-year cycle by hands. Four-digit year display in an aperture. 24-hour and minute subdial. Crown position indication (R,A,H). It is estimated to sell for $2 to $2.5 million.
Racecar lovers will go crazy for this one. In addition to the RM 11-03 McLaren watch made of Carbon TPT® interlaced with Orange Quartz TPT®, the winning bidder will receive from McLaren a tailor-made official driver’s racing overall, a ‘Pure McLaren Experience’ driving day with test pilot Bruno Senna, as well as a private tour of the McLaren Technology Centre, at their famous headquarters and production site in Woking, England.
The watch: RM 11-03 in carbon TPT with titanium pushers fitted to the Carbon TPT® case echo the design of the distinctive headlights of the McLaren 720S. Titanium inserts, similar in shape to the iconic McLaren F1’s air-intake snorkel and bearing the McLaren logo, adorn the bezel. The complex grade 5 titanium crown is shaped like a McLaren lightweight wheel. Under the hood beats the automatic RMAC3 calibre in titanium with a flyback chronograph ready to literally race on the track. Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Sapphire Orlinski for Only Watch
Art lovers rejoice. Not only will the winning bidder of the Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Sapphire Orlinski for Only Watch get a sculpted work of sapphire art for the wrist, but also, he or she will get to meet with Richard Orlinski at his art gallery in Paris, a place dedicated entirely to his work. Since 2017 Richard Orlinski has been adding his angular style to Hublot watches. Works of art for the wrist, these feature his signature facets, nuanced with angles and edges.
The watch: The 45mm Classic Fusion Tourbillon Sapphire Orlinski for Only Watch showcases a white gold bezel, set with 54 baguette-cut topazes. Entirely transparent, it reveals an openworked architecture showcasing the gears, tourbillon cage and power reserve. It will be delivered in a sapphire gift box, supported by the famous “Wild Kong” by Richard Orlinski. it is powered by the HUB6021: Manufacture manual-winding power reserve skeleton tourbillon movement and finished with a transparent smooth blue rubber strap. This one is for the soccer fans of the world. In addition to winning the Jacob & Co Epic X Chrono Messi “Only Watch” special edition unique piece with baguette-cut blue sapphires, the winning bidder gets to meet the soccer star himself. At the meet and greet, the winner will be able to take pictures with the legend, have him sign a few things and will pose for an official portrait with Messi wearing both to their Epic X Chronograph Messi watches.

Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec Only Watch 2019
Born in the beautiful city of Lucerne, Carl F. Bucherer invites the winning bidder of the Patravi ScubaTec Only Watch 2019in white gold to enjoy an unforgettable experience in the brand’s hometown. The winner and a guest will be treated to a two-night stay at the picturesque Chateau Gütsch hotel, with spectacular panoramic views of Lake Lucerne. They will be given a tailored guided tour of the historic city and a private visit to the Carl F. Bucherer manufacture.
The Watch: A diver’s watch par excellence.
