German brand, Tutima, is pulling out all the stops this season with stunning blue dials in the Saxon One line that will have you feeling like you are soaring the bright blue skies. The brand bills the Saxon One as a watch “For those who don’t need GPS to know where they stand.” It’s an apt tag line as this is a truly individualistic watch. The Saxon One Automatic and the Saxon One Chronograph deserve a closer look.
Made in Glashütte, the dynamic collection pays homage to the brand’s roots and offers sharp lines and architectural dimensions. The mechanical watches feature 3D pyramid-shaped edging on the rotating bezel and features screw-in crowns for optimal water resistance. The 42 Saxon One Automatic watch is powered by the Tutima 330 mechanical movement with 44 hours of power reserve. The watch is a three-hand automatic with day/date indication. It retails in stainless steel for an incredible $3,800.
The Saxon One Chronograph houses the caliber Tutima 521, with in-house-made chronograph module. The movement is shock resistant and water resistant to 200 meters. The chronograph feature integrated pushers and offers date display, hour, minute, small second. The chronograph features a 60-second counter, a 60-minute counter and a 12-hour counter, as well as sweep second and minute counters and a 24-hour display. It retails for $6,500, making a clear craftsmanship combined with great value proposition. Both versions look and feel great on the wrist. They are not too big, not too heavy and definitely not too expensive. Additionally, the craftsmanship and attention to detail make the Saxon One a watch for those who know where they stand.
Oh, and by the way, there is a stunning 36mm Saxon One for ladies, too. Check it out here.
