Just a couple of years ago, Baume & Mercier unveiled the Promesse Collection for women. Designed expressly for ladies, the line is a refreshing mix of elegance and affordability. It captures the spirit of a promise, of love, of special moments. It has also quickly won the hearts of women around the world and has become an all-important line for the brand.
Easily one of the standout details of the collection is the inner bezel of the watch, which has been rendered in a variety of materials. Now, in time for 2016, the brand unveils a special, limited edition version. Recognizing that in Asia jade is a symbol of love and commitment, Baume & Mercier unveils the stunning Promesse Jade. Featuring a jade bezel accented by 60 diamonds it represents an elegant lucky charm. The timepiece features a clean white dial with an exquisite oval bezel and a round case sitting upon a striking white strap. The monotone coloring of the watch enhances the bold jade bezel. Just eight (the Asian lucky number) of these timepieces will be created.
Additionally, the Baume & Mercier promises to bring some other non-limited edition Promesse watches to market in 2016. Among the standouts we loved this year: the inlaid mother-of-pearl bezel.
