The latest version, with striking hot pink accents, perfectly captures the vibrant energy of Sin City and celebrates the rich legacy of motorsports that the brand has long championed.

The timing of the unveiling couldn’t be better. It follows last month’s announcement by LVMH (TAG Heuer’s parent company) of a historic 10-year partnership with Formula 1. While the full scope of the collaboration begins in 2025, expectations are high that TAG Heuer could assume the coveted role of official timekeeper, replacing Rolex, which has held the title since 2013. This announcement underscores LVMH’s commitment to aligning its premier brands, including Louis Vuitton and Moët Hennessy, with the world of F1.

The new TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph is a modern interpretation of the iconic square-cased timepiece first introduced in 1969. Designed in black DLC-coated titanium, it features bold hot pink accents across its skeletonized dial, a nod to the neon lights that define Las Vegas. These accents include pink opaline outlines on the chronograph counters, lacquered pink hands, and light blue Super-LumiNova on the indexes for a dynamic glow in the dark.

The Monaco’s legacy in motorsports is as legendary as the drivers who have graced the F1 tracks. Its distinctive design and left-sided crown made it an instant sensation, cemented by Steve McQueen’s choice to wear it in the 1971 film Le Mans. This latest version continues that heritage with its focus on precision and performance.

At the heart of the watch is the in-house Calibre Heuer 02 movement, a high-performance chronograph engine with a column wheel and vertical clutch for impeccable accuracy. The transparent case back reveals the intricately decorated movement, offering a glimpse of the oscillating weight in action. The watch delivers hours, minutes, seconds, date, and chronograph functions, making it as functional as it is fashionable.

Measuring 39mm, the Monaco Chronograph is topped with a domed sapphire crystal featuring anti-glare treatment for optimal visibility.
