HYT H4 Metropolis
OK — regular readers here at ATimelyPerspective know that we love HYT – the hydromechanics line of watches that display time via fluid. Now, as we wind down 2015, we want to infuse time with a little excitement. Just over a month ago, we brought you the story of the brand’s newest H4 Metropolis — equipped with a light source. Under the rider at 6 o’clock, HYT has concealed two LEDs. Once activated, they flood the entire dial with blue light. At night, the green fluid is absorbs energy from the light source, becoming perfectly visible. Making it even more special, the glow of the light flows into the caliber– bringing the architecture of the mechanics to life. You can read more about how the watch works here.
