Taking the concept of high-tech materials on iconic watches to new heights, Corum unveils the all-new Admiral watch in the ultra-light weight Carbon black and green watch. This legendary timepiece was first released to the world more than 60 years ago and was inspired by the famed America’s Cup races, which the brand sponsored for a while. Now, the new Admiral watch brings the traditional pennant-flag dial to all new heights.
The 45mm dodecagonal (12 sided) case boasts a truly sporty appeal in this version. Water resistant to 100 meters, the black carbon watch, made of carbon fibers interspersed with Super-LumiNova luminescent green elements, is inspired by the colors of the sea during different season and times of day. Every case is unique thanks to the process used to create it.
The movement is open worked and without a dial, the wearer gets a view inside the automatic caliber CO 297 that powers the watch. This movement was developed in-house by Corum’s engineers, beats at a frequency of 4Hz, and has a power reserve of 48 hours. Just 25 pieces will be made.
