Corum Admiral Legend 42mm Chronograph
Just in time for summer water sports, Swiss watch brand Corum expands its much-coveted Admiral’s Collection. While holding true to the marine aura behind the Admiral Cup collection, the brand expands the line with eight new Legend pieces decorated in entirely natural minerals. Drawing from nautical inspiration, the pieces feature dials produced from teak wood or mother-of-pearl, faceted on a satin, steel or vulcanized rubber bracelet. In keeping with the spirit of the Admiral collection, these watches feature a dodecagonal bezel, dauphine hands, an automatic caliber, 12 pennant-shaped hour markers and an open screw-down case back.
The mother-of-pearl models Corum Admiral Legend watches are available in either 32 mm or 38 mm. Each model features a slightly different dial composition, hand-assembled to form intricate designs where the light plays across the dial, shifting from shades of blue to green and then to grey. These beautiful women’s watches are available with either a white mother of pearl dial or a blue/grey mother of pearl dial. The Legends may be adorned on a matching rubber strap or a stainless steel bracelet. Within a case of stainless steel, these automatic timepieces feature a 40 hour power reserve and are water resistant to 50 meters.

The wooden men’s model, sized at 42mm is available in two distinct styles. The first variation pairs a blue rubber bezel and a blue teak dial set upon a blue rubber strap. The second version, brings together a brown teak dial upon a brown rubber strap with a 5N pink gold bezel. Two central hands, a small seconds at 6 o’clock and a date at 3 o’clock adorn each dial. In a nod to the Admiral’s maritime roots, nautical flags replace each numeral. This automatic CO395 movement features a 42 hour power reserve and is water resistant to 50 meters. Both versions of the wooden series are also available with a chronograph bi-compax. In this model, the dial has been rearranged so that the date is visible at 4:30 with a 30-min counter at 9 o’clock and hour counter at 6 o’clock. The wooden chronograph bi-compax features the CO 984 movement and is water resistant up to 30 meters.
