Japanese watch brand Citizen unveils a new innovative scent-diffusing wellness clock called Sensory Time(TM) that is designed to release scents at critical points in the day and night. Billing the clock as a “fully integrated, time saving and a life enhancing product,” the brand is all about promoting wellness especially during these stressful COVID-19 times.
Created in partnership with IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances), one of the largest fragrance houses globally, the alarm clock is a scent diffusion system that provides high quality aromas. The clock allows the owner to set the time they want the scents to be released. For instance lavender for nighttime or citrus as a wake-up call.
The Sensory Time clock sold with two essential oil blends: Lavender Escape for a sense of calm and comfort, and Citrus Boost for an uplifting surge of rejuvenation. The noiseless aroma machine operates without the need for water, which can dilute the properties of the oils. The oils included in the clock will fill a 500-cubic square-foot room. Additional aromatherapy oils are sold separately.
The alarm clock features a 24-hour digital clock and an alarm that is used to activate the diffusing mode. A Bluetooth wireless speaker offers clear sound. There is also a modulating wellness light. There are three versions of the clock, including white on Espresso wood colored base, white on a dark gray base or white on a white base. The clocks retail for $99 — making them a perfect gift.
