Chopard, the renowned independent Swiss luxury watchmaker leading the charge in sustainability and transparency, introduces a new series of Alpine Eagle Summit timepieces, combining ethical 18-carat gold with a dazzling gradient-colored gemstones This latest addition to the Alpine Eagle collection features a 41 mm diameter and showcases the brand’s commitment to sustainable luxury.
Crafted in ethical 18-karat yellow, white, or rose gold, these timepieces embody Chopard’s dedication to responsible and environmentally conscious practices. The entire production process, from gold smelting to bracelet manufacturing, gem-setting, component production, and movement assembly, is meticulously carried out by Chopard’s skilled artisans and is traceable.
The new Alpine Eagle Summit series offers four distinctive combinations of ethical gold and gemstones set in a subtle gradient color change. Options include yellow gold with pink sapphires on the bezel, white gold with blue and purple sapphires, white gold with tsavorites, and rose gold with spessartites. Each model features the signature eagle-eye radiating-patterned dial in luminous hues, defining the collection’s identity.
Inspired by the natural beauty of the Alpine landscape, the textured dials pay homage to the region’s splendor. The “Golden Peak” dial in yellow gold reflects the shimmer of a rocky summit of the Mont Blanc, while the white gold variations draw inspiration from the Zinal Glacier and the silvery reflections of quartzite stone in the village of Vals. The rose gold timepiece boasts a “Pink Dawn” dial, reminiscent of the early morning sunlight over the mountains.
In line with Chopard’s commitment to sustainable luxury, the Alpine Eagle Summit timepieces are crafted using ethically sourced 18-carat gold. Since 2019, the Alpine Eagle collection has prioritized materials that adhere to the principles of sustainable luxury, contributing to Chopard’s goal of improving luxury practices.
The 196-part Chopard 01.15-C self-winding movement powers the Alpine Eagle Summit watches and is visible through a transparent sapphire crystal caseback. Certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), the movement ensures precision and excellence. The 60-hour power reserve and stop-seconds function further demonstrate Chopard’s dedication to achieving the highest standards of mechanical precision.
The Alpine Eagle Summit collection is not just a celebration of exquisite craftsmanship but also a tribute to the grandeur of the environment, reflecting Chopard’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship.
