On Friday we brought you a close-up look at all of the grand events going on at the 2016 Monterey Classic Car Week. You can read about that here. Now, we just want to take a minute to introduce you to the “Best of Show” winner at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2016. The winner — beating out 200 amazing true-to-their-heritage vintage cars — is a 1936 Lancia Astura Pinin Farina Cabriolet. The car, owned by Richard Mattei of Arizona, took six years to totally refurbish. In his speech, Mattei thanked numerous people from around the world who helped in the restoration.

Not only did he receive the winning accolades, but also was awarded with a Rolex Everose and Steel Datejust 41 with in-house-made Caliber 3235 self-winding movement that holds 14 patents and carries the brand’s Superlative Chronometer certification. Rolex is the Official Timepiece of the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance, and Rolex clocks could be seen throughout the Fairway.
