Swiss watch brand Corum doesn’t really have brand ambassadors on its roster. Instead, the brand talks about having “friends” — and now female race car driver Hanna Zellers joins the family. American born, Zellers has been enjoying the sport of racing since the tender age of six when her father took her go kart racing. By the time she was 16, she had already transitioned from go karts to race cars. Now, she adds watches to her list of passions.
Her racing career witnessed several top 10 finishes in 2014, and 11 top 10 finishes in 2015, along with two back-t-back wins. The wins continued and by 2017 she ventured into NSACAR and a year later, she jumped to IMSA racing and had the opportunity to race in the F4 US Championship in order to broaden her skills. So far this year, she has been racing a BMW 235IR in TC America in the SRO America series.
Zellers sports Corum logos on her car and jumpsuit. Her watch of choice is the Corum Admiral Legend 38 Automatic with marquetry blue dial and diamond adornments. The 38mm watch is crafted in stainless steel and houses an automatic movement, the CO 082 that displays hours, minutes, seconds and date aperture at 3:00. The watch offers 42 hours of power reserve and the 12-sided case features a bezel set with 50 diamond brilliants.
The Corum Admiral Legend 38 Automatic boats a multi-row link bracelet that is ergonomic. Its marquetry mother-of–earl dial is read in house of blue and the famed nautical pennants that made the Admiral collection a beloved legend are used as markers for this watch. The hands are filled wit hSuper-LumiNova for easy night time readability. The sap[hire crystal and case back are treated wit anti-reflective glare-proof coatings. It is water resistant to 50 meters.
“We are delighted to support Hanna and her passion for racing,” says Rich Louis, Corum’s North American Vice President of Sales and Operations. “Hanna’s bold pursuit to join an elite team of female drivers aligns with our philosophy and our Admiral collection of watches designed for extreme sports enthusiasts”
