Looking for the perfect gift for the holidays for him or her — one that you can afford but that is also timeless and chic? Look no further than the all-new collection of affordable Baume & Mericer Classima watches called “MyClassima.” The new collection is being released just for the holidays, with all watches reatiling for less than $1,000.
The first Classima watches were inspired by a design from a 1940’s museum piece found in the Baume & Mercier archives. Over the years, the brand has continued to refresh and enliven the collection. In fact, you can read about last year’s redesign here. Today, the brand has reinterpreted the design in a watch priced from $990 — perfect for the holidays. The new timepieces for both men and women are clean and classic in looks and are offered in three different sizes (31mm, 36.5mm, 40mm) with either blue or black leather straps or stainless steel bracelets. The MyClassima watches feature Roman numerals and a date aperture at 3:00 for sophisticated appeal. The watches are powered by a precision Swiss quartz movement.
To B&M,
Coming up with watches at a lower price point is a good move but going to Quartz just isn’t going to cut it. There isn’t an increased value here, you have lowered price but further lowered the value proposition here and now you’re playing with all the other cheap Quartz Movados out there. You can’t find a way to stick a SW200 in there for a grand? I was interested until I saw Quartz…to me it’s now very expensive because who wants to spend a thousand bucks for a Quartz watch?
Got to try harder folks!
