Swiss watch brand Parmigiani Fleurier has been busy behind the scenes of its Tonda PF Automatic watch –releasing three new 36mm versions that are powered by a new in-house automatic movement. With a vintage-inspired appeal, the exceptionally clean looking watches boast a big dial opening that gives a full view of the Grain d’Orge guilloche craftsmanship.
The new movement, the PF770 Automatic- is an in-house-made mechanical caliber that beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and offers 60 hours of power reserve. The movement consists of 179 components, each finely finished by hand. The rotor is made of 22-karat rose gold and is skeletonized.
This new generation of the Tonda PF Automatic offers a fluid, harmonious integration of the case and bracelet, a classical knurled bezel, and minimalist dials with invisibly set baguette-cut diamond hour markers. There are three new colorways: an 18-karat rose gold version with Deep Ruby dial, a stainless steel version with Silver Sand dial, and a steel version with Warm Grey dial. The steel watches also boast a platinum bezel.
They retail for 18,500 Swiss Francs for the Silver Sand with applied markers instead of diamonds, 24,900 Swiss Francs for the darker Warm Grey dial with diamonds on it, and 49,500 Swiss Francs fo the Deep Ruby model with diamond markers. The new 36mm Tonda PF Automatic watches are highly wearable and simply elegant two-hand watches. Sophisticated, chic and yet still subtle: perfect Parmigiani watches.
