Citizen Attessa new watches made in collaboration with space.
Top Japanese brand, Citizen Watch, recently released three exclusive Attesa models in collaboration with its corporate partner, ispace, inc., inspired by the ongoing HAKUTO-R lunar exploration program. This collaboration, initiated in 2019, underscores CITIZEN’s commitment to lunar exploration and resource development. Additionally, it celebrates the technology of Citizen, incorporating world-first technologies and more.
The three different models celebrate the advancements made in the HAKUTO-R program, particularly the historic Mission 1 launch in December 2022. This marked the first-ever commercial lander launched into space with the ambitious goal of reaching the moon. For the forthcoming Mission 2, CITIZEN’s involvement extends to providing Super Titanium™ for the landing legs, a material at least five times harder than stainless steel, highlighting the brand’s dedication to combining state-of-the-art technology with refined design.

Citizen Attessa CC4065-61Y watch made in collaboration with ispace. Limited edition of 1,900 pieces.
Drawing design inspiration from the moon itself, the ultimate destination of the HAKUTO-R lunar lander, these watches are set to make a distinctive mark. One noteworthy model, the CC4065-61Y, boasts a first-ever full mother of pearl dial from the ATTESA collection. The dial, layered over a colored base to replicate the moon’s distinctive patterns, captures the allure of moonlight at night through a combination of textures and properties. The bracelet’s center links, crafted from recrystallized titanium, add a unique touch to each piece.
Priced at $2,995, the CC4065-61Y is a limited edition of 1,900 pieces worldwide. Equipped with Citizen’s advanced F950 movement, this model offers a range of functions, including the world’s fastest GPS satellite signal reception in as little as 3 seconds. It is made of Super Titanium ™ with spherical sapphire crystals and measures 44.6mm in diameter. It is accurate to +/- 5 seconds per month and runs on Eco-Drive — that offers five years on full charge. Other features and functions include Satellite Wave GPS, World Time function, 1/20th of a second chronograph, and more.
