In a celebration of timeless elegance and artistic innovation, the Dior Chiffre Rouge collection is experiencing a remarkable resurgence two decades after its initial debut. Embracing the House’s most iconic elements, the collection introduces new models that seamlessly fuse tradition with modernity, embodying the couture aesthetic synonymous with Dior.
At the heart of the extraordinary Chiffre Rouge is its distinctive singular architecture where asymmetry and geometric delights takes center stage. The case features a subtly enlarged and tapered side, creating a visually captivating dynamic. A red crown and matching hands enhance the watch’s uniqueness, engaging in a mesmerizing dance – a true representation of the “color of life,” in the words of the founding couturier. That red is also used for the circular date indication. All against a backdrop of stainless steel DLC black matte.
The number eight, cherished by Monsieur Dior, serves as a symbolic element in this creation. It takes a prominent role as the singular numeral in the date display. The Chiffre Rouge watch and certain straps boast the famed quilted cannage affect that emulates fabric.
Visible from the case back, the automatic mechanism inside each of the new versions adds an additional layer of fascination thanks to meticulous finishings and a stunning oscillating weight. The collection offers a diverse range of calibers, from chronograph to tourbillon, catering to various tastes and preferences.
In a bold move to encourage personalization, the Chiffre Rouge timepieces come with interchangeable straps. Whether it’s rubber enhanced with macro and micro pattern or in plain leather, wearers can effortlessly swap out the straps to suit their mood and style. The watches are offered in two sizes, 38mm and 41mm.
